Union Ink UPLCV1555 Sport Victory Barrier Grey

Union Ink Sport Victory LC Barrier Grey UPLC1555 is a flexible, low-cure underbase formulated for printing on polyester and polyester-blend garments. It provides excellent bleed resistance across a cure-temperature range of 250°F to 320°F (121°C to 160°C), helping protect heat-sensitive garments from shrinkage and dye migration.

UPLC1555 is especially effective on unstable and dye-sublimated polyester fabrics, including camouflage and digi-hex patterns. Union Ink Victory LC white or color inks can be printed over the Barrier Grey base.

Recommended Application

• Fabric: 100% polyester and polyester blends
• Mesh: 86-110 threads per inch
• Squeegee: 60-70 durometer or 60/90/60, sharp square edge
• Print: Two strokes at medium speed
• Flash: Approximately 150°F (66°C), until dry to the touch
• Cure: 250°F-320°F (121°C-160°C)

For best results, use a print-flash-print technique to achieve sufficient ink deposit. When used as an underbase, print two strokes of Barrier Grey, flash until dry to the touch, and then print the desired white or color ink over it. Stir or pre-shear the ink thoroughly before printing.
