ASI HUGGER CATALYST (FIBERBOND)

ASI Hugger Catalyst is a specialty plastisol ink additive designed to improve adhesion on nylon, tightly woven synthetic fabrics, and other difficult-to-print substrates. When added to compatible plastisol inks, Hugger Catalyst helps create a stronger bond to materials such as nylon jackets, windbreakers, athletic jerseys, bags, banners, and other slick surfaces where standard plastisol inks may struggle to adhere. It can also be used at lower concentrations to help reduce fibrillation on 100% cotton garments.

For nylon printing applications, ASI Hugger Catalyst is typically mixed at 10% by weight into plastisol ink and provides enhanced durability and wash resistance after the cross-linking process is complete. The catalyst activates when exposed to moisture in the air, creating a limited pot life while delivering improved adhesion performance.
