Avient K2535 FX Particle Base

Avient Infinite FX 2535 Particle Base is a crystal-clear specialty plastisol base designed for printing glitter particle effects on screen printed garments. This versatile base allows printers to mix in glitter particles to create custom sparkle, shimmer, and specialty designs with excellent adhesion, stretch properties, and wash durability.

Particle Base is a low-cure special effect ink that can be used on 100% cotton, blends, and some synthetic fabrics. It can be printed direct to fabric or over a flashed-dried base plate, and may also be tinted with plastisol colorants for additional custom effects.

Printing Tips

• Use 24–61 mesh screens depending on glitter particle size and desired ink deposit.
• Mix up to 15% glitter particles, depending on particle size and desired look.
• A .008" x .008" glitter particle size is a good starting recommendation.
• Use consistent, high-tensioned screen mesh and sharp-edged squeegees for best results.
• Print in the last position or flash after each print when using multiple screens.
• Flash at 220°F (105°C) and cure between 270°F–320°F (132°C–160°C).
• Metallic particles reflect infrared heat, so a forced-air dryer is recommended for proper curing.
