Description
Description
Avient Infinite FX 2460 Sharp Clear is a low-cure specialty clear plastisol ink engineered to create high-resolution graphics, sharp edges, and exceptional detail in high-density printing applications. Designed for printers who demand crisp corners and precise image definition, Sharp Clear delivers a satin finish with a dry hand while maintaining excellent adhesion, stretch, and wash durability.
This versatile clear can be used as a high-density effect ink, tinted with plastisol colorants for custom effects, or applied as an overprint clear to create unique visual finishes. Sharp Clear stacks easily for dimensional printing, can be overprinted with colors for added depth, and is suitable for tone-on-tone effects using finer mesh counts.
Highlights
• Low-cure formula helps reduce energy consumption and protect heat-sensitive fabrics.
• Produces sharp edges, crisp corners, and high-resolution graphics.
• Satin finish with a dry hand feel.
• Can be used as a high-density clear, overprint clear, or tinted for custom effects.
• Excellent adhesion, stretch properties, and wash durability.
• Suitable for cotton, blends, spandex, acrylic, and uncoated nylon fabrics.
• Non-phthalate formulation.
Printing Tips
• Use 86–196 mesh screens (34–77 t/cm) depending on desired detail and ink deposit.
• For best high-density results, use 200–400 micron capillary film and a print-flash-print technique.
• Apply a heavy flood stroke to fully fill stencil openings before printing.
• HD Sharp Clear stacks easily for dimensional printing and is commonly overprinted with multiple colors.
• Suitable for fine mesh printing to create tone-on-tone effects.
• Flash at 220°F (105°C) and cure between 270°F–320°F (132°C–160°C).
• Avoid cure temperatures above 350°F (177°C), which can increase gloss, soften edges, and create a tacky feel.
• The ink may appear slightly milky during printing but becomes more transparent after curing. :contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0}
