Matsui Retarder MG Additive is a specialty water-based ink additive designed to slow the drying rate of water-based inks during screen printing. By extending open screen time, Retarder MG helps reduce ink drying in the mesh, minimizes screen clogging, and improves print consistency during long production runs or in warm, dry printing environments. This allows printers to maintain smoother ink flow and reduce production interruptions caused by premature ink drying.

Compatible with a variety of Matsui water-based ink systems, Matsui Retarder MG Additive helps improve printability while maintaining ink performance and color quality. Ideal for both manual and automatic screen printing operations, it is especially beneficial when printing detailed artwork, fine halftones, or large production runs where extended screen open time is essential.

-5% of Retarder MG in to ink to help extend the open time and keep the product from clogging in the screen. 35% humidity or above in your shop will also help extend the open time of waterbase inks.
